Full exhaust system installation DIY (request)

it'll be best if you do, but its not absolutely required. the spring should connect to the 2 loops, one on the flange, and one on the pipe

Do you know if your fatty flange has a loop?

above the exhaust port there is a lil cooling fin u can hook it to thats what i did

Is it the support in between the fins? Because other than that I couldn't find a hole. I have a 2004 blaster.

yeahh in think thats it. it goes up and down

Yeah they are verticals lines in between each cooling fin

alright soo I got everything on (fatty pipe, pro circuit silencer, 280 main jet) and there's something wrong. When I get the revs higher when I'm holding the throttle, it sounds like it starts breaking down, or like it's hitting the rev limiter too easily.

What adjustments should I try? I turned down the idle and that worked a bit better

Airbox lid is on. Haven't done a plug chop yet but I had it out yesterday going down the highway n stuff. If you pin it in 6th it sorta slows down. It's weird.

just don't go through any deep water or anything and it'll be fine. it does have an airfilter right?

Yeah it does. I think it's aftermarket but it's still foam.

if you're not running it through deep mud or water, i wouldn't worry about it, it'll sound different too, be a little louder lol. you're just really rich with that fmf and the lid on. rip it around with the lid off and it should run better

Yeah soo I took the lid off like you said, went up in my woods, it wouldn't shift into second after a bit then I looked down and two f*ckin holes in case, oil leaking. This is great
