My front brakes do not work. I know the pads are less than 0.125. Will the new shoes be thick enough to work. It seems there is not much movement of the shoes when I mess with the adjustment screws. I just purchased a cable system. (1 upper and 2 lowers with springs.) Are the springs supposed to snap the lever back. Mine just lazily work back. Please help.
