hello fellas! i just put new bulbs in the blaster and i noticed the front and rear lights are way too dim.. even when it revs up they dont change much... i got both lights from jmp cycle in woodriver. i bought the bike and both lights were burnt out in it... kinda sketchy but now they work, but even while riding they are so dim they are practically useless.. my first thought was the voltage regulator... i read somewhere on here that if the bulbs are bad and you run it for to long you can damage the voltage regulator...how true is this?

some other info:
bike still runs good, (aside from my full throttle issue)
i left the oil indicator light out because i have the injection deleted
i have NOT checked the voltage going to the lights yet.. thats next i just have to get my hands on my meter which is at my gradpas house. and when i do check with the meter, what kind of readings should i expect?

does this sound like a familiar problem to anyone?

9 volts should be minimum, 12v great, 14v max. check/clean all connections from stator to light , add dielectric grease. Also check main harness ground. Might even have to clean inside of switch.
