(FIRST TIME BLASTER OWNER) Curious what things I should do first to build my quad up

Hi, I have 1998 Yamaha Blaster. I'm pretty sure it's got all stock parts on it, but I want to get into working on and building quads and bikes. This is my first project so I came to you guys for help, just wanna know what I need to know to be able to build this quad into a 265 beast with swing arms and everything... just new to it all so need a starting point, please help me with advice, tips, and pointers. Thank you to everyone who helps and works with my virgin brain to this.
