First Blaster

Did some riding at Town Creek OHV Trails today. Had a great time riding with my wife today. She rode our sons 80. I have a warrior I was gonna fix up for her, but I think I may find her another blaster. I love blasters.

Still waiting on the control arm kit from Alba. Apparently it's on backorder after I was told it was in stock. But I did order some front tires and wheels. They're used but in good condition. I plan on getting new wheels for the rear also so I'll have aluminum wheels front and back.

] Got to try out my new front wheels and tires on the trail today. They got some grip. They hold alot of mud and sling it back though. I'm pleased with the look and overall performance though. YFZ450 wheels with 21x7-10 GBC XC-MASTER tires

Alba a arms finally came in. Can't wait to install them. Was gonna do it this evening but it started raining. Hopefully tomorrow or at least before the weekend.

Got the new arms installed on one side tonight after work before I ran out of daylight. Liking what I see so far. Hopefully finish up tomorrow or Saturday and get all the adjustments dialed in.

Couldn't wait lol... broke out the spot light and finished it up. Installation anyway, still have to make the adjustments and dial them in. Not sure if I'm gonna like it though. Definitely better to be wider and looks better, but the new arms put more leverage on the shocks so they don't feel as stiff now. These arms make the banshee shocks feel back soft like the stock blaster shocks. Hopefully I have some more adjustment left on the banshee shocks to stiffen it back up. We will see...

Installed a new PRM rear grab bar. Would've been already on, but they sent me the wrong part the first time. 2nd time around they sent the right part and a free shirt.

Same as mine. nice. I modified mine. Just over 1/2 way down this page. Made it a little closer to rear fender.

Apparently we have similar taste and style in parts selection lol. Great minds think alike. Because after mounting it, I kinda felt the same way about how far it sticks out. It crossed my mind to shorten it, and I may do it. I wasn't sure if it just seemed like it stuck out far because I never had a grab bar from the beginning.

Cleaned it up today. Loving how it looks with the new control arms and grab bar. Coming together good, only a few more things on my "to do" list.
