just bought a 2000 blaster the other day. motor was machine shopped and put back together but isn't getting any spark. before I start spending money I would first like to make sure all these cut wires aren't important. does this look ok? isn't that yellow and black wire suppose to have a circuit? the coil looks brand new and I am getting ohms from the stator. the wire from the gas handle has been removed as well.

it is hard to tell from pics.
looks like aftermarket exhaust/perhaps aftermarket cylinder, cylinder head or can of spray paint?
if it is a 2000 electrical system then they should have only needed to unplug the tors brain to delete the
throttle over ride system. Which is alot of those cut wires.
count the wires coming out of stator 4 or 5 wires?
if they replaced the stator with a cheap 30 dollar 1 then that could be an issue.

woodruff key is not sheared on flywheel
alot more to this but check these out at least:)
i must admit the wires do look a lil hacked uncared for:)

Yes my harness is missing a lot compared to the pictures of other blasters. I think I'm going to buy a harness on eBay which is the same year as my bike and go from there. Will be back in a week with updates

The black wire in the first picture needs to be grounded. The black and yellow us part of the tors crap and is un needed. The green and yellow wires in the second picture is for the head light

i grounded the line and still no spark. the stator has 4 wires coming out of it.
