Sitting at work thinking about blasters and I was like mmmm Electric Blaster.

Has anyone removed the engine out of a blaster and installed a high powered electric motor?

Something like this but in a blaster.

I'm thinking 50 lbs of batteries and 1 hr ride time :(

I have a couple electric bicycles and love the quiet ride through the woods:

Ignore the gas motor, it is a test fit for a hybrid idea.
This one has lithium batteries that are very small and light:

This whole adventure started with me looking at a Zero electric bike:

Some models have 100 miles range and 100mph top speed (but not both at the same time!).
I was very impressed but prices were in the $10,000+ range.
I thought I'd start smaller and learn something about electric.
I think the future is in some sort of hybrid, gas/electric with a smaller motor and battery setup.
