i did relieve the material just behind the carb at it's deepest to allow good transition into the cr reeds. Definitely a good point to bring up.I almost bought the expander just cause i seen one in harbour freight. . . .

Yep. I might go with a 33PWK over my 30mm carb(maybe) and I'm going to try to straighten the carb on the stock intake, and then take some of the angle on the "inside"(left) side of the intake to permit more direct airflow to my ported reed cage. The angled carb intake has always been a pet peeve of mine on the Blaster. X(
