A very handy bit of information.

As you see I fabricated my own extension to tension up the Blaster cylinder nuts, just welded an old 1/2 drive socket to the middle of a 12mm combination wrench.

Instead of pulling down to 18 ft lbs I pull to 16 to allow for the extra leverage.

A very useful torque conversion for extensions.

Fyi.....An open box wrench that has a 10mm side and a 12mm side along with a 3/8" torque wrench (10mm side will fit on 3/8" drive) would suffice on the 12mm base nuts..
 
lol motion pro makes a tool for about $11 that works well. I bet gerry coldnt find this wrench nowadays if he tried.
