First and foremost I am new to 2stroke and 4 strokes. I got a blaster in trade for a totaled Tahoe. Ran great for a while and the the oil injection stopped working and was obviously risen without lube. Tore it apart and piston was fried. New top end installed and now there is a chirping noise when I kick start it. Suspected air leak and took off the reed valves and no more chirping.

Time to leak test to confirm the engine is air tight...

I heard about the leak down testers. But is there any other way as I don't have one. Unless someone in Fort Wayne, Indiana has one I can borrow
