blocked off oil inj. with no kit

Hey i want to know if this will cause me problems. I took the oil tank off, clipped the tubing right at the tank and then clipped the tubing right before it enters the carb. so the pump is still in there and running, its just running dry. is this going to cause problems?

I opened the pump up and took the gear out... but im curious as to if this is a viable option as well.

you defenetly want to take the pump and the drive gear out, its only plastic and you dont want that breaking inside the case and make a mess!! put the blockoff plate over the hole and should be good to go and also block the old oil line to the carb so nothing gets in

if you read more carefully you would see, i took the tube running to the carb and disconnected it from the carb itself. Ive run the blaster since then and seems to be fine, i will be removing the gear though and that is it.

you will want to make sure there is a plug in the oil line to the carb or you will get sh*t in there

where is the oil pump at on blasters?

if you konw your taking it off you can weld the hole for the pump and then u have it done for good. just make sure he line is closed 2 the carb well otherwise you suck more air = lean = death
