Hey all. Starting up this thread to track the progress of my first blaster. Just picked it up last weekend. 99 model that has been put through the ringer.

Previous owner told me the clutch was toast. Already have a clutch kit on the way, but when I pulled the crank case off last night it was clear the the basket but had come all the way off. I will get pictures as I go along.

Here it is the day I got it.

So far I have done a bit of cleaning and discovering tons of small issues from the last owner. Back brakes where completely put on wrong and froze. Got that fixed and working perfect. Right now I have been working on a few small cosmetic things and going to go through the carb throughly.

New clutch in. After doing some resarch, I found out that the TORS delete that the last owner did was only part of the way done. They forgot to add the idle adjust kit. Ordered that tonight and is on the way. So far the bike is running alright besides not idling.
