I think seafoam may wash the oil off the crank bearings too, I wouldn't use it.

I run amsoil @ 50:1 with great results, if you ghange ratio rejet and do a plug chop.

get a starter box from a racing gocart, and make an access hole on the flywheel side. you could make a bracket to carry it on the nerf bars.

if it's working leave it on. the oiling system works fine. mine is a 2000 with lots of hrs on it. just make sure you use injection oil. and change the trans oil often and the plastic gear will last a long time. and it's nice not to have to worry about mixing oil inthe fuel.

I have a +2 on mine, it helped but not enough. I think a +4 would take away from the nimbleness of the blasty. my vote +3

unhook the rear brakes, and ride it, then tell me how much you realy want them, you tap them a lot more than you think. like Awk said,brakes with more control are very nice.

take the clutch apart, maybe mixed a disc and a plate, or check for both push rods a nd the ball in between them are good. could also be a warped clutch disc or plate. check them on a flat surface( a peice of glass) or steel bench top.

can you shift through the gears when it's not running?

I think the 96 is the newer style motor with more hp than the other 2, check into it. easier to get parts for also.

either the k&n or the foam filers work great if properly setup, I run knee high pantyhose on my k&n filters, you can carry a spare if you want. the outerwear lid is nice too.
