NEW TOYS 85 Quadracer And Compressor

Ive ridden a slighty modded one and their gearing is totally different than a blasters. They may not be able to wheelie all day unmodded, but once you get them breathing better, they will pull and pull and pull through that gearing.

    kawasaki bayou thread

I have a 1991 bayou 220. All stock with airbox lid removed unless going mudding. I have submerged it in a river, and had it die with the seat under water. Got her towed back to camp, pulled the plug and pulled the pull starter while she was tiled straight up until no more water came out the...

    Diesel Engine Mechanics?

Their just dumping a rediculous amount of fuel to make up for the insane boost their running. A street truck only running 30-40 psi doesnt need all that much fuel and will smoke when dumped like that. Pullers and drag racers need all that fuel to make up for the boost. However, I on newer...

    is it true!!!! blasters blow

Cylinder and piston life all depends on owner maintenance and proper tuning/jetting. Any mod to airflow in or out of the motor requires a rejet to allow for the more fuel and oil needed to flow. A blaster that is properly tuned can go 5-6 years on one top-end. But you MUST have it jetted spot on...

    Ebay Shocks

I Have heard they are junk, but NOBODY around has ever bought them so dont ask me how they know they suck other than their opinions on functionality based on looks alone.

    Suspension upgrade options

+4 swingarm will work great for trail riding and ice racing. As for suspension, +3+1 a-arms are the way to go. And they will allow yfz or trx450r front shocks to bolt right up until you can afford some better ones. With all these, you would have the baddest suspension setup around lol. Or at...

    Street legal blaster trike....LOL

Never said it was a bad idea or looked crappy, just stating he was short shifting the sh*t out of it. Chill out peeps. Not that short shifting is a bad idea on a street legal machine though. Guess we can 96 my previous post.

    Help with porting

I would say it looks pretty damn good. Why did you connect the boyseen ports to the intake windows, if im correct, thats gonna reduce ring life. And, those intake windows are pretty sweet, never seen them that wide but shouldnt hurt anything. If it ends up not being bueno, just grab a stock jug...

    Knocking from fresh rebuild...

That sounds good in my opinion. These little air cooled motors are really noisey at low rpm and when not moving to fast. Mine sounded like that after my rebuild. Only note I have is that the cylinder looks like it already has some scuffing, unless that is a shadow cast by something. Am i right...

new at this and the blaster have a ?

Changing what level clip the needle is on does affect jetting. Nice to see you doin some tuning. Generally reeds dont require a rejet, but if it runs better, leave it. When doing the lid removal, you will need to remove your main jet and replace with a bigger one. Generall 1-2 sizes bigger will...

new at this and the blaster have a ?

removing the lid will make it faster, by allowing more air to flow into the engine. You have to rejet your carb when you do this. Otherwise, you can and will blow your engine. Anytime you change airflow in or out of the engine, rejeting is needed.

    wheel sizes??

they should fit fine. All you need to match is the last digit which is rim size. First digit is tire tallness and second digit is width of the tread.
