    heatgun will remove the factory gloss, i suggest doing the entire piece or it will have some dull spots where heat was applied, youll need a polish to bring the gloss look back after heating

    all that plastic renew stuff does is put a thick slime coating on that eventually wears off in days, save money next time and go get some floor polish lay it on thick andlet dry and it does the same exact thing. only other REAL way to get scratches out is heatgun then sanding them down then...

    dont forget a blind bearing puller, they can be a pain on the blind ones. 2 jaw puller works to but its got to be very small

    its that ultimate chrome powdercoat on the face of the clutch cover, and on the inner case halves, then candy blue over ultimate chrome on the rest of the clutch cover. im doin a +3 stroker, i already have the cylinder, i got it used for a good price. i just have to send it out to get it ported...

    i have a shop press, to put them back in, i was seeing if anyone had a special tool, so i didnt have to take the chance on warping the cases. i have a clymer manual, and in my opinion the transmission section is horrible on reassembly very general
