that does suck. well keep in touch and when things get settled at work and I can make a trip maybe we can work something out. It would be nice to have somebody along that knows the place.

hummm, I guess I will need to check it out then as I love sand trails. I just never went because I was told that it is crazy there with a bunch of irresponsible people from portland going over there and being dangerous all of the time. Maybe I will go over in the middle of the week. thanks for...

not yet i haven't my friends tend to only ride the dunes. I have been by sandlake to take a look and I thought about going on my brute force to explore but I haven't got it done yet.

    high octane fuel

I run 110 race fuel in my blaster and 50/50 race/premium in my banshee. I switched to 100% race gas in my blaster(s) for a few reasons 1) it runs much cooler 2) it runs better 3) it is better quality 4) and my experience is that it tends to have less carbon buildup. this is just why I stay with...

    Jets

your stock clutch is fine and I would do a plug chop to see if you need to be any richer. I would think that you are fine until you get a new pipe or open the airbox. I do prefer to run a little rich on the pilot.

    switched to klotz, no idle..

I would also drain and clean the gas tank and add a fuel filter while you are at it. I have used Klotz for many years and love the stuff- I even use it in my lawn equipment and chainsaws. I was turned on to it my my friends and from talking to my local engine builders.

    03-06 Swingarm on a 99 Blaster

yes it will. i have one and i use my carrier from the 2001 with the stock brakes. i am going to put on my new brakes from awk on in a couple of weeks. if you decide to upgrade to hydraulic brakes later the 03-06 already has the line retainers for the brakeline.

I am alright. I have been busy trying to find work and I was getting really tired of all the attitude that some of the people on here were giving. I hate it when people do not post in the correct forums and jump people because they do not think the way they do. I am tryng to login more and maybe...

    vito's big bore

you can have a lean bog and a rich bog and they sound differently. i would rather start rich and lean it out than start lean and burn it up.

    vito's big bore

you should be using a bigger pilot jet (minimum +2 or 3), a richer than stock needle setting, and I would start with a 360 main. You want to jet from the bottom to the top not the top to the bottom. you should first increase your pilot and set you air screw/idle then move to your needle and then...

Whats the best exhaust for a 200cc blaster?

I currently have both a FMF (this is my second one) and a Shearer and the FMF is definately stronger off of the bottom- or it feels that way to me. I have three Blasters and now that I am finally getting back to work I am going to get a DMC and CPI so that I can try something new when I get one...

    240 Jetting Question

The person that I bought a vito's 240 kit from used the vito's jetting kit and specs for the bb. He melted the piston @15min into the first ride. because of this I am going to use a forged replacement piston and IF I use the factory carb I am going to richen the needle all of the way (put the...

getting rid of the blaster soon

that is too bad as you will not find a more simple and easy to maintain atv out there. a 2-stroke is much simpler to maintain than a 4-stroke and they both need maintenance (much more on a 4-stroke). if you step up to one of the machines you listed then you also will have more parts that will...

    Low End Pipe

I have both a Shearer and an FMF and I think that the FMF is a better off idle to 1/3 throttle and it still makes a great showing to about 1/2 throttle. After that the Shearer feels stronger. Bang for the buck would be to get a used FMF (and they are built pretty stout).

EHS airbox lid? Anyone ever used this?

I have an EHS airbox lid and I do not regret paying for it. I left my factory snorkel on the Blaster and added the lid. I have a K&N w/Outerwear and I jetted for an open lid.

Sorry, I have not been feeling well. I don't think that I am interested at this time. I really do not have the tools to tear into the engine to fix the leak. Again, I am sorry for not getting back to your sooner.
