    Best??

Where abouts are your settings? I weigh about 200 lbs and have not dialed in my 450 ex shock. I don't even know what the top and bottom screws adjust.

Pics of the engine i bought

I would just use the factory service manual. I have Clymer manual for my boat and they suck. Generally factory manuals are the way to go. Just print it out. Good luck.

    Quick question??

Personally for what they are worth, I would change them, especially if they have not been done so in a long time. They do wear out with time. Would hate to get it all together and a week later find out they are leaking. Cheap insurance IMO. Have a great day, Rob.

Does not protain to a blaster but i need some help.

Like 96 said earlier, the SE spec is relatively old, and I am not sure that you can even buy oil today with that spec. Your best bet is just to buy motorcycle oil, you can get it at Wallyworld. The bottle even says it is compatible with wet clutches. The manual states SE, SF, SG, but again...

Hello and Welcome, Saw that same Blaster on CL earlier. Good luck

Does not protain to a blaster but i need some help.

You can buy motorcycle oil for four strokes and use it in the gearbox of your 2 stroke. These types of oil do not have the friction modifiers most of the automotive oils have, which will cause your clutch to slip.

    Blaster vs ex

While you are waiting, get that thing running a little better. Remove the airbox lid, adjust your jetting accordingly, you can advance the timing a tad. Good luck

    Yes,this is my first post.

Dude, As said before, you are pushing this thing in the wrong place. People don't really want to buy bikes here. You will be much better off going to CL or your local buy and sell and advertising there at your lower price. Good luck

    Another voltage regulator Q!!

You tried two voltage regulators and they both fried. Are they properly grounded? If they aren't grounding properly they won't work. Check that out. Have a great day, Rob.

    Yes,this is my first post.

If it ain't selling, maybe you need to lower your price. And like already said, most of us are into Blasters. Good luck

    PARTING OUT BLASTERS

What really suprises me is the people who are still asking this jerk for stuff. If you want to piss your $$ away on some scam artist, go right ahead. If he were legit and gave a damn, he would at least reply to these posts. But not this guy, be warned. Have a great day, Rob.

    Shock Pin Wanted

Yeah, I may do that, 1/2 inch is 12.5 mm. Much easier to get a 1/2 inch bolt than 12mm. Thanx.

    Shock Pin Wanted

That is one of my options. The diameter of a 12 mm bolt is about .1 mm smaller than the pin, which is why I was thinking the pin is better. In the meantime a bolt will definitely work, but I think the pin would be better in the long run. Have a great day, Rob.

    Shock Pin Wanted

I just did a 450 EX shock install, but inorder to remove teh old bottom pin, I had to cut it into 3 pieces before I got it out. Anyone have a pin for sale? Perferably in Canada, the border can be a real pain. Thanx.

    PARTING OUT BLASTERS

All you can do is make it more difficult for the scammers, hoping that the hassle would be too much and they will take their scams elsewhere. Having minimum posts of say 50, would definitely make it more difficult and would act as a deterrent, and send them elsewhere where it is much easier for...

    PARTING OUT BLASTERS

If you pay through Paypal, can't you get your $$ back? Hopefully your cash has not gone up in smoke. That is why I am leery about buying stuff frem here. You really have to watch the Newbies who just come here and start selling stuff. Good luck guys, hope you get your $$ back.

    rear hydro brake

Haven't even seen a hydro caliper. But they should be very similiar to automotive ones. Just take it apart, clean it, replace the rubber parts, lube it up with rubber grease and put it back together. Cannot use regular grease because it will cause the seals to swell and fail. Should not be...

    Rear Brake Mechanical Caliper

Thanx guys for your offers to help. He was (darealblaster) right about taking things apart, he must have learned that in mechanics class. But I ensure you I am no novice when it comes to mechanics. Have worked on many pieces of equipment ranging form 1,000 hp diesels to down lawnmowers and...

    Hard to start

If it runs when you dump fuel into it, then it obviously is not getting any fuel. Check the screen in your fuel petcock and clean/overhaul the carb. How old is the fuel? If you don't know then replace it with fresh. If you are unsure about the compression, do a test and post the numbers...
