Honestly I’m not sure , could be something to do with your transmission maybe ? I don’t know a lot about that so maybe someone else on here might know . I’ve never had an issue like that

Where are you leaking from ? May need to take carb off and start with cleaning everything with some carb cleaner , also I would check float bowl level , many tutorials on here how to do that. Then I would go from there

I had a similar problem with my blaster last season , as soon as I got above 3/4 throttle it bogged , couldn’t give you an exact solution but after fresh top end ,new reeds air filter and it solved the issue

If you also were thinking on replacing transmission you could probably find one barely used on eBay for less than 100$

That right there is a complete kit to rebuild the whole motor for 400$ , hot rods is great quality too so it will last a very long time

I Think you could make a pretty decent blaster for under 500$ , quick tip tho , don’t go with any eBay cylinder kits or anything like that , they will not work, I have tried eBay pistons and eBay cylinders and it does not work . What exactly are you trying to rebuild ? The whole bike or the motor ?

just wondering if anyone could help me find and aftermarket crank that would fit a 1995 rm 125 , my crank is no good and needs replacing , would love to rebuild this bike as it is amazing , oem is no longer available and I cant find any aftermarket that fit a 95 , any help would be apreciated

I thought of a tig weld too , just not sure it would hold , and parts are very hard to find. And I already ordered gasket kit . Found a used crank on eBay for 100$ but it looks a little rough so I’m not sure it’s even usable

i received a box of parts with an rm 250 I got . A lot of the part said clearly don’t even go to the bike , it’s more or less a box of random misscellanous parts , any way to identify what this crank is from ?

Rebuild kit comes with crank , crank bearings, bottom end gaskets , clutch , all bottom end bearings and gears , but I don’t need all that and don’t have the money for it

So I have pulled it apart and it’s worse than I thought , the shaft that the primary drive gear sits on is stripped , I believe it’s the crankshaft but correct me if I’m wrong , anyway do I have to buy a complete bottom end kit to fix it ? Is there any posssible way to fix without tearing it...

So my rm 125 was having some issues , Larry’s shee directed me to remove clutch cover and check all gears and what not , I have taken the cover off and all the gears are good (the oil had a lot of metal shavings ) , however when I spin primary drive it just spins and clacks , doesn’t turn over...
