I might get a 1988 TRX 250R and I heard that the '86 pistons are better. So if I order a 1986 pro-x piston for a 265 size cylinder will it work? It will be a fresh sleeve, and I will have it ported for woods.

I am going to change my tranny oil, currently I have some Lucas oil 10w 50. I might get some yamalube 10w 40.

Mine does the same thing, just gets stuck in between neutral and first. Non running or running, fine besides that

Just learned today that he has high comp. piston and cam as well as the other mods I mentioned. Another question is if a 250r with suspension, pipe, and tires will beat a big bore yz 125 with new tires as well.

I have a 2004 blaster all stock except a full fmf exhaust. My buddy just got a Raptor 250 with a 270 bore kit, tires and a HMF. What would win in a drag race?

This is kind've a dumb question but I want to know what gas octane you use and what I should use. Stock motor including piston and never checked psi. Full FMF exhaust and I run 87 mixed 40:1 with Klotz supertechniplate
