Alright I'm done with this stupid bike, the only thing I can think to do is replace the stator, so much for the stupid $66 high out put stator

In going out right now to try it to see if I can find anything, your saying to unplug ground(black) from stator?

It's a 4 wire and I have unplugged and nothing

tors system is eliminated there no a controol box and the black and yrllow and black wire are cut at both ends

the woodruff key is new, i tested the key switch last night it shows no resistance in on and very very minimal in off. testes the kill switch as well and shows no resistnace. and im gonna try that tonight when i get home. i have a feeling that its the pick up and i just need to buy a good used...

im gonna check all grounds again when i get home where are they all located? is there more than the two(one on ignition coil and the other on the 12volt control box) the key is brand new and fine

I've got a 89 Yamaha blaster, won't run Becuase of no spark, well it's got a good stator tests out at 266 ohms (within spec) the ignition coil is good and working, the engine run on/off switch is fine and the key is fine, I just replaced the Cdi and still nothing, the oil injection is eleminated...

i have the book and looked and nothing on them, its a moose racing one. i just need to know if i wired it correctly, i have the main power wire right the one that hooks up into the light coil or bulky one i just dont know about the other three

i need to know what wires go to what on the stator! took it apart to change out with new hogh out put and i belive i put it back together wrong some one help!

4 wire and it came with a instruction sheet so I followed that and nothing.

i just put a new stator and coil on the blaster theres still no spark! anyone have any ideas of what it could be? i just put new boysen dual stage reeds, new moose racing high out put stator, new ignition coil, nothing was getting spark for a few kicks then no longer anything towed it down the...

Hey guys I'm new here, I just purchased a 87 Yamaha blaster, it has a FMf pipe big bore kit and some other stuff, it currentlyhas a minkuni tm32 flatslide carb, I'm having issues figuring this thing out, got it running today but runs like crap, has little power and will back fire now and then...
