New top end it is. Got ambitious pulled the cylinder & found half the piston skirt missing. I know the correct/through answer is going to be "split the case and get it all out". But is there an easier way to do it?

Im assuming that the gears are hardened and they will eat up that spring if they haven't already. But id still like to get the clutch off to inspect the gears & case behind there & then brake clean the heck outta everything before i seal it all back up. Do i need to put any type of sealant on...

Whats the easiest way to remove & replace the plastic bushings on the front a-arms?

Prob a dumb question, but just curious, is there a set gap that should be between the plates when the clutch lever is pulled in? When I pull in my lever only the 2 most inner plates seperate. The rest stay tight together.

Dug around a lil bit and found the metal kick start clip was missing so im assuming that was a piece of the metal I found in there unfortunately still looking for the rest of it. Im gonna pick up a strainer tomorrow & strain the gear oil to see if it was chopped up and is in there.

Ya. Pressure plate springs look good & clutch operates as it should. Metal piece was thicker than a clutch spring, similar to the diameter of the coiled spring on the kick starter.

Got around to taking the clutch cover off today. As soon as I took it off a broken spring piece fell out. Now with the bike is gear I can grab the clutch and it'll move so im assuming gears are not broken and not meshing. Still having a problem getting into 4,5,6. It will but just not as easily...
