It stops the throttle cable from lifting the slide in the carb. don't need it at all...............o_O IF carburetor slide is fully opening you are getting 100% full throttle.:D you can check that the carb slide is fully opening if you want to.:)

it is a crankcase breather hose that attaches to the nipple,runs up underneath the gas tank and ends up underneath the front nose headlight area. look at this either cracked case/case halves or the clutch side seal is leaking:)...

Sounds electrical if all above is true:) check the year of electrical parts for the THROTTLE.OVER. RIDE. SYSTEM. 88-02 had 4 wire stators 03-06 had 5 wire stators. 88-02 you just unplug the brain under front nose 03-06 you need to splice wires. could be your stator/flywheel magnets/ timing key...

yamaha blaster was made in JAPAN. if you want to replace it with CHINA parts THEN buy a CHINA made ATVo_O

it is a case of i got cheap top end parts that don't work. check compression should be at least 120psi.. If you can't do that all the typing in the world won't save you;)

stop chasing carb issues seeings how that's all you are chasing. According to your threads. Perhaps try a different approach. WHAT IS YOUR ISSUE WITH THIS AIR COOLED 2-STROKE?????

it is the clutch side seal if it is white and smells like burning gear oil. gear oil is not meant to burn so it will run like crap. although it should still start...... could be your reeds or a clogged pilot jet in carb to help keep adding issues with rough running -starting.:D stuff keeps...

it is a exhaust valve breather hose stick one on to help keep dirt/water out of it any hose will work if it fits and is long enough no need for special orders:)

I'm pretty sure those cylinders are nikasil plated. send it to ken if you want it done the right way:)

looks like i could not see that post before i posted oops:eek: uh huh that is a problem/fix it the right way/ jet carb properly and do a leak test or it will happen again.

a good place to start would be a compression test should be at 120 psi is normal. and taking out the pilot jet and soaking it in a cup of carb cleaner for like 10min:) it is easy to tell if it is clogged by holding it up to a light you should be able to see through it. If you can't see through...
