Its really hard to explain the pearl/chrome difference with out actually seeing it. I favor the pearl, but most people like the black chrome. Pearl is a black, where black chrome is a layer of chrome, then a black chrome and it is more of a dark dark gray. Look at the rims I have on my topic...
No man, there all close, flat is like primer black, matte is a darker richer black with like a 10% gloss. And no rush, I coat on Saturdays or Sundays. But for real, my coater is color blind so he has no clue what color he shot, kinda funny.
I've got a set, but a suggestion, 2-2 twill carbon fiber drapes nicer than fiberglass and is easier to work with if you can stomach the cost of epoxy and will give you a little more flex than fiberglass or kevlar would
Well, scrapped out the old oven and bought one. This is how its set up, but actually run it opposite of this. Goes it off, and after the powder has liquidized and stats to cure I kick them on to get even heat.
here is a few pics, the pink/faded guard is a dg, but one of the 4 risers are broke. Its 5 coats deep of powder but had an incident on coat 4, which made me have to go to a pink/ purple. the control arm guard is one of one, the other half was missing so it was just shot for a sample.
