    Quick question

Yup, just like dirtysquared said. If you have trouble removing the seal, what I have done in the past is run a drywall screw into the face of the seal and yank it out with vice grips.

    Rejetting

As long as its not burning to hot and its not bogging then your pretty close. trial and error is really the only way to do it. there are too many variables to give good advice for jetting on here, although there are several thread on here that can give you some good direction to work with. the...

2003 kfx 400 gas in the oil and wont run?

He's right, even if it has good compression it can still seep past the valves and piston into the oil if the floats are stuck or not set right and the bowl over flows. Particularly if it stops with the intake valve open, thats provides a straigh shot for an overflowing bowl to flood an engine...

    Mig welding help.

Well it looks better than most of my flux core welds. And all of mine held just fine so I'd say your doing just fine. Really those are a great tool for little patch jobs like that. Just do like everybody else said and make sure the are you're welding is really clean and you should be good to go.

So im in a bit of a pickle

I've never actually used these aluminum rods myself, but I've seen my father use them to fix parts before and he just took his time followed the instructions and it turned out great. like YFS101 said, they are stronger than the base metal. One thing that I know helps is make sure both the pieces...

Lots of white smoke and poor performance. PLEASE READ!!!!!!

If it was leaking around the crank seal maybe it is possible that tranny oil has built up in the exhaust and is still burning off:-/ good luck

    Difficult or not?

An impact might work. But you may need to make a tool to hold everything still. If worse comes to worse. a trick I have used several times before with success is to put the jug and piston back on it then rotate the crank till the piston is all the way down (BDC) and then feed a length of rope...

how to find out if an atv is stolen?

It's not that hard to get a replacement title in ohio. You will however have to have the guy you got it from get it. I had to get a replacement title once, but it was for something I already owned. It cost me like 7 bux and took all of 5 min. If you can get the guy to get a replacement and then...

    Engine work?

What kind of riding you do can really determine what mods will best benefit you. If you do a lot of long distance riding like trails and such, then I would recommend a port job a milled head and a pipe and maybe a carb. (Actually I would recommend those for any type of riding, but for basic...

    Naphthalene as an octane booster

I remember the swifty stations. they always had the cheapest gas in town and offered a discount if you payed cash. but it was always the worst gas in town too. my car always ran like crap when I filled up there. I think they had "watered" down the gas or something. I don't know about the ones in...

    Naphthalene as an octane booster

I'm no Chemist, but I'm pretty sure thats a recipe for napalm. just stick to normal high octane pump gas or race gas and you should be fine. If you start having trouble with detonation, then the safest bet would be to retard the timing a degree or two and see how that works.

    Crank nut

If you still have the cylinder on it you can run the piston to bdc and fill the cylinder with a piece of rope and that will help hold the crank still while you wrench on it.
