I have tryed to adjust the idle screw it didnt really do anything but i found this sensor located kind of under the air box location and i unpluged it and it just didnt idle at all any more it cuts out the idle when i unplug it when i play with it and plug it in and out it starts to idle normaly...

Thanks, are these like the only 2 things i can check the carb is rebuilt and clean can the jets be causing this problem?

I have a 2004 yamaha blaster it idle only when choke is out and it idles kind of low but it idles. When i put the choke in its starts to rev up really high like to really high rpms what do you guys think it can be?

I am having the same problem aswell but mine wont idle at all and the idle screw just keeps on turning it never stop?

I put the airscrew out 1 1/2 turns out and took it for a spin it ran really nice that solved my problem when going slow thanks. But when i turned it off i turned it back on and i tryed to fix my idle and now it revs up high and i cant bring it down and the idle screw just keeps on spinning it...

Thanks for the replys i am new to this and is the air screw u guys are talking about the same one as the idle screw or are they two different things? Also my blaster doesnt idle i have to be giving it gas for it could stay on.
