Hmmm the cable is new, also the clutch is very hard to pull on using the lever.

Same just happened to me when I tried to view a reply in a thread I just posted.

Was up guys, so I noticed that when riding my Blaster shifting it is hard and I have to adjust my clutch cable out all the way and it doesn't engage until the lever is almost released fully??? Is my clutch going out??? Please help!! Thanks guys!!:-/ (just want add that I use Maxima EXTRA 4...

Thanks Blaaster!!! Yes again like Racer51 said, do your research and also invest in a tether kill switch and nerf bars if you don't have them already, most tracks require that.

x2 what Awk said!! Also keep up your cardio (cycling, jogging, running), go to your local track and watch. When you finally get to the track, walk the track, take your time find the lines everyone uses, meet and greet with other riders, that's your best resource, know your limits and remember...

I did exactly what your planing on doing, got a 06 bone stock Blaster and put so much money into it, raced in the Open ATV class against all 450's. Then I bought a new YFZ 450R and loved it!!! If I were you just save your money for a 450, keep you Blaster because they are endangered species!!!

Was cleaning the Blaster the other day after a ride and noticed that one of the tie rod boot was damaged, could that cause the steering to become stiff or resistance when turning the handle bars:-/

It's all about what suits you, but if you looking for inexpensive and durable, Tusk is the way to go, I have one and it looks awesome, and the screen I removable and interchangeable. Again, it's what you want, that's my recommendation. ☺

I had the same problem with the same exact arms, when I called ASR the guy Mike said to make sure you spray WD40 after you clean after riding and push on the bumper t get the WD40 to cycle in the hiem joint. He also said don't use a pressure washer directly to the joint. Hope this helps!!
