Will the 87 jug fit the 88-89 bottom?

Can I use type f tranny fluid in the lt or do I need something else?

Could I get the same info also, I could get on but it wouldn't let me register to view the info. Also is the 88-89 motor plug and play so to speak.

I know the 88-89 motors are a little different but will bolt into an 87 frame and work?

Not sure but I think I just ruined my case. And these are the hubs with some kind of adapter for larger pattern.

Didn't know a 250r other than a honda existed till a few days ago and now I own one. Don't know a whole lot about em other than what I read in the past few days researching. I think it is a 87 it has the longer shocks, motor mount on head, and painted blue. It does have 4 lug rear wheels though...

I looked on eBay and looks Like a frame shipped is only a couple hundred, but what is the difference between the 88-02 and 03-06 frame?

Back end of the silver frame is jacked up bad. Would I be better off looking for another frame with no damage?

BTW the black framed bike is the one I am wanting to fix.

I was thinking replacing this bar and adding the gussets(sp), a machine shop would be doing the work

Does this stuff fit the factory 03+ spindles or just the norm420 spindles I keep reading about?

I went and dug my old bike out of the barn to fix for my son. I don't remember cuting the frame on this one but some one did. I have another frame with a section cut out that still has the down pipe that was cut, it is safe to cut the whole bar out and replace it? Any ideas welcome and thanks in...
