sounds good holden. i know the carb fits my intake boot just fine but i had fitment issues with the air snorkel stretching over the mouth of the carb. that is one reason i am not currently running the pwk on my bike. think i read i can cut back the snorkel and use pvc pipe and a silicon fitting...

any suggestion on a baseline jetting for the keihin? not sure what jets are in it now but i could run down to my shop and tare it down to see.

i have full fmf,4 degree advaned stator, boysen pro reeds, stock carb with tors delete 270 main needle in 3rd slot, maybe 10 hrs on 68mm wiseco, head shaved .040, ngk b8es and i run 93 pump gas 32:1, k&n air filter and air box lid removed. not sure on my elevation but im in the north georgia...

i am getting ready to replace my engine seals and was thinking about ordering a vito's spacer plate to help out my bike. my local shop says he can raise the ports for bout 30 bucks. any advise on which to choose. i have full fmf exhaust, .040 shaved head, +4 stator advance, 68mm wiseco piston...

i have the tors disconnected on mine with the tors cap still on and adjusted at the thumb lever and mine works fine. the screw on my tors box wasnt doing anything for my idle. i have a tors delete cap on the way and will tap the carb for idle screw when everything arrives

if you have any problems with your idle you can adjust the cable at the thumb lever to achieve your idle

one side of my reed cage the reeds are gapped open. tried flipping them and the are still gapped when tightened down. guess i will be getting a new set soon.

so im going to check the reeds now that im home. bike had br9es from previous owner so i guess a trip to the parts store is in my future too. thanx for the imput guys. ive used this site with lots of help so i figured i would join since i have a pair of blastys again

didnt have chance to check compression and i'll be making a leak tester soon. carb was soaked in dip and cleaned with spray. i did notice a few air bubbles in the fuel line. is that of any concern
