    help with AWK's brake setup.

Right on it was hard to see if it was paint or not. There is always a first for everything, i'm just glad that it worked out and I have a sweet ass set of rear brakes now since the stock ones haven't really worked in years :D. Thanks again for everything

    help with AWK's brake setup.

BTW just for future reference the small bracket was made from the caliper bracket you sent me, I used one hole and drilled another for the caliper. The holes are exactly 1" apart (center to center), it gave the caliper just enough clearance so I wouldn't bottom out on the rotor and still...

    help with AWK's brake setup.

That is correct, I cut both of the spacers off and ground everything down nice and flush. The front bolted right on and the rear used that little bracket. I rode it around for a little while today and it seemed to hold up pretty well so far, I'm going to ride next weekend and I will know if it...

    help with AWK's brake setup.

Hey guys figured it out. I did have to cut the spacers off because the caliper would never have fit on the rotor with them in the way. Just had to modify the rear bracket and put the swivel pin where the brake pedal and master meet and were all good, finally rear brakes that work. Awk you...

    help with AWK's brake setup.

I already have a bottle ready to go :) Looking at it I have to cut the two spots that the original caliper mounts too and just buy a few new bolts and I think it will work pretty slick. :)

    help with AWK's brake setup.

I did, the setup is awesome and he had already figured the master mounting situation out when he built it for me. I think I have it figured out, it looks like I'm going to have to modify my carrier a little bit for it to work. Anythings better than the stock setup however. lol I:I

    help with AWK's brake setup.

I just got AWK's brake setup today and everything bolted up ok except for the caliper and bracket for it. I have an 04 which already had the hydro brakes on it, I'm assuming it's because of my carrier being different, I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and any solutions?

    Kickstarter Help!

You can try either some wd40, or very carefully apply some heat from propane torch to the head of the nut and along the kickstarter it self where the bolt goes through and that should loosen it.

    over heatin i think

You can try to install a snowmobile temp gauge for air cooled engines. It has the gauge that you mount wherever and the probe is an eyelet that goes between the plug and head. as for the correct temp I have no idea what it should be.
