Stock Clutch Basket with Aftermarket Plates

Thanks. I figured out that the ball bearing was missing. I ordered a new one and now that issue is resolved. Only issue I'm having now is that the quad doesn't want to shift into 2nd and beyond. I installed the spring washer and everything correctly. Could it be that the quad has to be warmed...

Stock Clutch Basket with Aftermarket Plates

Thank you. I picked up these products and removed the residue. I installed my clutch plates but I think I may have damaged something. Perhaps you might have an idea what is going on. I had to screw the push rod into the center of the pressure plate all the way in to get the correct adjustment...

Stock Clutch Basket with Aftermarket Plates

Hi Everyone, I have a Barnett Dirt Digger clutch that I'm finally installing after all these years. I took a look at my clutch basket and it needs to be replaced. Will a replacement OEM basket be sufficient? I'm not so sure I want to mess with drilling rivets to install a different aftermarket...

Help with Clutch Cover Removal & Clutch

Hi Everyone, I'm replacing the clutch in my '02 Blaster and I'm wondering what methods you folks recommend for removing old pieces of gasket that are sticking to the case? I carefully took a razor blade to it with some success, but I don't want to risk damaging the metal. Any solvents I should...

Will I Have to Rejet My Blaster If I Install an Oil Injector Block-Off Kit?

Thanks for following up. My only engine modifications are an FMF Fatty / Power Core II, running a 270 main jet. I mostly ride trails, so nothing too extreme. I found the oil/gas ratio information in a Clymer manual I bought for the Blaster many years ago. I know how to plug chop and may resort...

    Light Problem

Hi, i have a slight problem with the headlight on my 02. It works fine, but the switch does not seem to work. It doesn't matter if the switch is on high, low,or off, the light always shines. Could this be a faulty switch or do you think the light was wired this way by the previous owner? thx

    Clutch Cover Gasket Question..

I just recently replaced my clutch cover gasket. I have less leaking but there is one weird thing that is happening. Two of the bolts where the cover is mounted to the crankcase has oil leaking from the seam. I don't understand why this is happening. Does the gasket need time to be broken in or...

    Question About Brakes

Hi all. I've always had trouble with the rear caliper sinse day one. I know blasters are notorious for having bad rear brakes, but I'm tired of not being able to use them. I was wondering if anyone has ordered the hydraulic brake conversion kit and if it is easy to install. If not, what other...
