    clutch arm adjustment picture request

The post below shows the correct direction of the arm.....facing toward the motor https://www.blasterforum.com/threads/quick-clutch-cable-installation-question.44034/ The little arrow on mine aligns with the inside edge of my case saver and points directly toward the rear of the quad.

    Blaster Bogs Beyond Idle

While it's running and warmed up, what happens when you turn on the choke? If nothing, what happens with the airbox lid back on? Airbox lid & choke?

    Blaster Bogs Beyond Idle

Definitely go direct from tank to carb. Have you removed the OEM oiling system and are now pre-mixing your fuel? 32:1?

    Blaster Bogs Beyond Idle

Ok, not a stock carb. If it's also not a 26mm (like a stock carb) then disregard my jetting comment and you're on your own lol. Have you tried it without that fuel filter? Could be restricting your flow. After looking at your video, appears to be an air/fuel mixture to me.

    Blaster Bogs Beyond Idle

Are you back to using a stock carb? Couldn't tell from your write up. Also, is the airbox cover still on? If so, take it off and give it a go. For a stock carb and your pipe, a 270 main jet is a little on the small side.....especially if the air is real cold where you're at. Once you get it...

LOL you could find a better option than sandpaper. What other options does the OP have?

    Extended Tie rod

Could the broken one be repaired by welding a new threaded end onto it (using a bolt or stud)? That would be the route I'd be looking to take if sourcing a replacement fails.

    Stator conversion to battery charge

The engine ignition switch is its own simple open/closed circuit that doesn't include lighting. A stock blaster's lighting is controlled by the switch on the bars and works independently of the ignition circuit.

    Stator conversion to battery charge

Since they'll be used intermittently, you can probably make it work if you get rid of the OEM light and go with something LED that draws way less. My year 2000 has just the OEM illuminated tail light and not sure if the 3rd gen blasters had brake switches or not. Maybe someone else knows on...

    Stator conversion to battery charge

Asking the real questions now lol. Surprising there hasn't been a blaster specific write up for this mod by now and hopefully others can benefit from our learning. If you're working with stock blaster wiring yourself, kindly let me know if any of the following isn't correct as I'm going off of...

    Stator conversion to battery charge

That should work. 2 yellows wired directly to each side of the lighting coil on your stator and then red and black directly wired to the battery.

    Stator conversion to battery charge

I used a TrailTech battery and voltage R/R. I believe others have used YFZ R/R units. Not sure if the one you bought will work as I can't see the wires. Needs to be a 4 wire DC unit. Here's the specific battery I bought and you can use an AGM battery or any sealed 12v that will fit under the...

    Carb Float Adjustment

My blaster has always had a similar issue after sitting with the fuel petcock off for even the smallest amount of time. Guessing the needle must get hung up for some reason. After many failed fixes, I now just expect it and have a screw driver ready when time to warm my machine up after it's...

    Stator conversion to battery charge

I recently did this mod and below is a link to another thread that I found helpful. If you search on "float the ground" you'll find more info on the topic. YouTube has plenty of videos as well In its stock state w/o a battery, the blaster's stator puts out AC current. You need DC current to...

    Alba extended A arms

I bought some Alba A arms a couple of year ago and I'm mostly happy with them. They're not super stout and will ding fairly easy on rocks. I also recently discovered that all four ball joint boots have failed already. The blaster isn't my primary off-road vehicle and so the Alba A arms are...

    Rigged pipe help

Ideally you would just need a FMF silencer to go with your head pipe, but it looks like someone installed a bolt into the head pipe near the flange.....maybe to plug a hole??? Anyway.....because of this, I would suggest a whole new exhaust and be done with it. Whatever exhaust system you go...
