Sounds like the top end seized up on you possibly caused by an airleak or possibly jetted wrong or maybe not getting proper 2 stroke oil ratio. You need to pull the head off then the cylinder and inspect to see whats up. Its real simple to do and takes only a few min.

Everyone has an opinion but myself i would rather spend 280 bux on a chromoly arm that retails for twice that and I know will outlast my blaster. Just trying to save someone a little cash, not everyone can buy a 400 dollar arm.

I removed mine and reinstalled it and that c-clip is a bear to get on and off. I managed to get it off with around 45 mins of cussing but i got it off . If i would of read this thread before i removed that clip i would of cut it off too but i was lucky to get it done. Nice write up AWK.
