Hey guys so I have a 2002 Yamaha Blaster that I just remove the Boost bottle on I know they are garbage but it came with it so I wanted to delete it so I had no chance of an air leak in that area my problem is that the intake manifold has the hole for the Boost bottle so I capped it and now the bike will not run it seems very boggy almost as when the tors system is bad if I give it any gas it will die out immediately and sound flooded gas also will come out of the exhaust flange if I loosen it. the Tors system has been deleted and I have a nice flat slide carb on already now when I uncap the manifold it will run though I know it is bad because I'm letting in air it will idle up high and seem to want to run fine I also changed thumb throttle to one without the the tors mechanism but I don't see how that could be the problem due to the tors already being deleted and everything being unplugged already if anyone could help me with this issue I would appreciate it thanks guys. I'm just curious what I have to change Jets because I took off the boost bottle?

You did all this at once ....Flatside, remove boost bottle, and delete tors ?

What the boost bottle hole plugged with ?
Is that sticking in too far and holding a reed open ?

Is the Flatside carb jetted for this bike ?
No carb comes jetted for a blaster, not even off a similar sized engine.
What carb is it and list what jets...Pilot, needle and clip setting, and main jet ?

It's possible the boost bottle already was a huge airleak and the carb was jetted to compensate that ?

Oh yeah I am sorry I forgot to mention that the bike has ran fine for years I just wanted to get rid of the Boost bottle because the hose was tearing on it and I did not want an air leak I am getting ready to check it out and after thinking about it that a read may be stuck open but it acts up if I hold my thumb over the hole with nothing in it but as soon as I take my hand off it revs and acts like it wants to run okay like I mentioned the carb tors delete everything's been done on the bike and it's ran fine for years it's just as soon as I removed the Boost bottle it just stays boggy if it starts at all unless I uncover the whole then it wants to Rev maybe half throttle sounding. Also this bike has ran fine no issues at allllll jets good I've leak tested comp tested plug chopped it's hard to believe that that boost manifold can cause this.
