So the 04 Blaster I picked up turned out to be an 06. The PO removes the on/off switch and the key switch. I don’t need the key switch, but I would like to install a kill switch or tether lanyard. Does anyone know what the factory wire colors were for the factory on/off switch?

Ok, I found the wire. It’s black with a white tracer. No is the factory switch normally open, or normally closed?
normally open key and kill switches, it makes contact and shorts the ignition out when in the off position.
connect the black/wht wire to any solid black wire or the frame/bare metal and it kills ignition, as will be the case in bike style kill switches, it'll ground the blk/wht to the bars, which will not work on bikes with anti vibration bars set in rubber to the stem. so a 2 wire kill/tether switch should be used using blk/wht and blk wires.
