Ok I got a blaster from a co worker most on good shape but do handed a crate with the motor torn down to nothing split case everything out. I put it together using the service manual. Tried starting it but wouldn't kick over had a friend pull me up and down the road it try to start but wouldn't stay running pulled the magneto off and found that all the screws for the magnet were out so I put screws in still won't start. Is the cod and magneto just fried and need all new or is it some other issue? Thanks

Did the magnets move around and the retaining plates seperate in the flywheel? If so, junk flywheel. Mine was like that when I got it and the magnets were busted up. Get a used flywheel and eBay stator(caltric).

That's what I thought I was just hoping that I wouldn't have too. I never seen it running before so I don't like the idea of dumping money into it maybe I'll just order a rebuilt motor. thank you.

How many ohms does the magneto supposed to read when trying to check

Source coil ohms 192-288 ohms those would be black/red and black wires @68 F.
Pickup coil should ohm 16-24 ohms thats white/red and black wires.
