hi just wondering what would be a good carb upgrade and does it make a big difference
2002 blaster oil block off kit full fmf exhaust 300 main jet air box lid off
or would i be best to go with reeds first
thanks

I ran a 28mm mikuni with a 290 main on my blaster I had Vforce 3 reeds spacer k&n filter and a full fmf exhaust system and that thing flew it was bored 20 over so hopeful that's helps you

The stock Mikuni is a pretty good carb. and easy to jet . But like Mark said a head re-chamber will give you more for your money . It's probably the best mod you can do for what it costs to get done . You will feel the difference . Send it to Ken . A 28mm PWK works great with the FMF if you want to get a different carb. They're 80-85cc dirt bike carbs . You will need to get a JJH needle and bigger main and pilot jets . The stock mx needles and jets are no good for a blaster

wow kind or pricey i have a local shop i have been taking my bikes to for years i will check as see how there prices compare thanks alot

Ken's porting and head mod will nearly double the stock horsepower of the blaster . What other machine can you do that to for around $500 .
