Junk shocks or not?

Link works. You get what you pay for. Some on on here had a set of cheap shocks and broke then. I wouldn't buy them.

Just buy a set of
YAMAHA RAPTOR 660 700 YFZ450 shocks

Only thread on the forum regarding them. I doubt anyone will have experience with them. But like mark said, you get what you pay for.

I wouldn't buy them with your money, and wouldn't ride them on your bike.

If money is tight, grab a set of works shocks. I ride them on my banshee. They're a step down from Elka, but 4 steps ahead of stock ones.

This bike is for my 9 year old. Trying to get him shifting. Pretty much gonna be a yard/field bike. Can't justify a set of new Motowoz or Elkas. I've had works shocks in the past on bikes that I've bought and I wasn't very impressed with them. Maybe they were worn out when I got them. But for a 70 lb kid they might be the ticket.

Stick with stock shocks for now.
I still have stock shocks on this rig and ride the heck out of it:

Having the tires at proper pressure for conditions is much of the battle.
I have other Blasters with better shocks, but unless speeds get extreme, stock is fine.
They are balanced better than some oddball shock off ebay and won't break if in good shape.
