A couple weeks ago I bought my wife a 04 blaster the people we got it from said that just rebuilt it but I started to have problems right away so i brought to a shop thay rejected the carb and put a new stator in it it was good for a week then the throttle started to stick then it back fired and sezed up so I pulled the moter apart the jug and piston don't look to bad but the crank is locked up what should I do

Do you know what the people you purchased it from did to it when they rebuilt it?
I hope they didn't install a chinese ebay copy cylinder.

let us know what was done. Photos help a lot. Photos of the cylinder help too...outside inside, etc

Spelling and punctuation help too. You aren't texting, you're asking for mechanical help.

Ya thair was plenty of oil and I just had a shop adjust the carb and put a new stator in it .over the years iv dun plenty of top ends. I just have never dun bottom ends the piston and jug look fine but the crank is seized up i can't get it to move at all and iv Ben looking on YouTube on how to do it but it looks like a birch lol

Naw, Blaster is pretty easy. O'CONNOR has some good vids. Also suggest a Clymers Repair Manual. There is an online manual, but I like having something right in front of me.

It's pre mix now and all I run is bellray synthetic 2STROKE AT 40 to 1 that's what I run in all my quads. I use good oil and gas. I use to race flat track quads in up state NY and vi also raced shifter karts for a good strech and I'm 39 so iv had all kindsvof dirt bikes quads trikes snowmobiles all kinds of stuff so I'm familiar with a lot but no bottom ends that's the one thing I stayed away from

32:1 is the recommended ratio for a Blaster, any less oil can make for oil depletion at full throttle , that may be the reason that the bottom end locked up.
