I'm a two wheel junky for life, and just recently bought the wife her first quad (1989 Blaster). Its also my first quad. Had plenty of two wheelers, and a few ATC 250Rs, but never a quad. Must admit I'm pretty impressed with the Blaster, not to mention I've heard they are bulletproof (which is a plus in case I have to shoot the wife, the bike will be ok).
Already found lots of useful info on this site. The guy I bought the bike from had removed the TORS and never installed the idle screw on the carb...your standard class A hackjob. Drove me nuts trying to adjust the idle and then everytime i turned the bars the bike would rev. Finally figured it out thanks to the site and ordered a TORS delete kit with the idle screw and 2 foot iron pipe (to smash the original owner/dudes head in for doing such a hack job).
