I have a 1974 star 125. It's a 2-stroke enduro, runs great , when it warms up I have to turn the idle screw up, any help would be appreciated

You should set the idle speed with the engine at operation temperature, you may also need to set the float level.

What Blaaster said, and if that isn't the answer it's maybe a tad to rich.(airscrew setting)

Great thanks guys! Had a rough time getting this electrical system figured out, Learned a lot about theses old points and generator systems,

I had one of those when I was a kid and the generator went out and they told me it would cost more to fix than it was worth. Well, I wish I would have kept it, I loved that bike and they are probably worth a lot more nowadays.
