Deleting rear foot stand for new nerf bars

Hi,
I am looking into purchasing some nerf bars for my quad, when i fit these do i remove the rear stand just behind the pegs? I want that to be gone and to weld some rear heel guards onto the new neef bars for protection from tyre and also to make legal for track. Is this how it would generally be done as ive seen nerf bars fitted and the rear stands still intact?!?!

They are the sickest nerfs ive seen, its funny how ebay shows different results for people as i typed in blaster nerf bars and these did not come up! Bit on the pricey side but shipped to the uk probally would cost around £250 once the uk tax is paid. There fricking awesome and i want some!

This may be a big ask but would anyone be willing to send these to me from the usa through a gift as i then dont have to pay the import taxes that would be attached by buyinf them thorugh the dealer?
