+4 +1 a arms

According to their website, american star doesn't have +4 but they have two different +3 styles but maybe they had +4 in the past??

As for +4 its a little harder to come by. Laegers only makes +3 I think. Burgard and Chassis Fab used to make +4 but neither are in business anymore. Snyder makes a +5 that is meant to be run with offset rims that basically turned it into a +4.
Those are the only others I can think of.

By +4 do you mean on each side? or combined 4" wider?

Combined you would purchase +2 arms. as it stands for +2 on each arm.

ASR +3 +1 arms are of the best you can find. plus customer service is outstanding

I have +5 5/8 arms. forget brand name off the top of my head, has a L in it i think. anyways, thats combined width

Herp I think you have the Snyder "SMS" a arms same as mine ?. I believe there +5 1/8 up 1.. You would need to run longer 16" shocks with those A arms though. They are really well built a arms.

Ah yes, they are SMS. thats what i was looking for. But i believe they are +5 5/8 according to old post i found on the blaster

i have never checked shock length though?

I'm starting to lean towards the sms +5 +1 i already have shocks that i can run with the a arms. where is the cheapest place to find the sms a arms at?

I've got the SMS and they use a 16'' shocks. If you don't plan on doing any serious jumps you could easily get away with a slightly shorter shock.
According to Snyder site its +5. The max is 50'' So any more then 5 in would be cutting it really close.

Blaster003, that link looks like its their old site and there new one doesn't seem to have any info up on A-arms

I'd try and give that number a call first and see what you can find out and if they still make/sell them.

I had gotten mine second or third hand. I'm not sure how often they come up for sale on eBay/here but you'd have to keep an eye open to find them.

They are +5 1/8" but if you run the ball joints out further you can go wider I guess ?? The thing is if you want to race it than you need to be just within 50" so you would need to run an offset rim of 4+1 so you wouldn't be too wide. If not racing than you can run any rim you want but id go with the 4+1 though. Imo they are some very well built a arms. Also depending on what ball joints you would get with them you have more of an option for different front ends if desired.

I run the ASR +3+1 on yamaha rolled lip wheels and I'm around 46". I love them. Considering if your running trails a lot, wider isn't always better. I'm happy with the overall width and performance.

I would also consider Fireball. I've seen those take some very unrealistic abuse without a hitch. They'll make anything you want and will do so for a good price.

What would be the width if I got asrs with the 3+2 wheels I have now?
Mine with stock rimes (which are 3+2??) comes out to be 48.5''

ASR would also be a great option to look at. Very well rounded/all purpose arms. Great price new and used are easy to find.
