ive had a few people send me pm's asking how to make these and if i would make one for them and instead of making them and selling them i want to teach those that dont know how to do it and im gunna try to get this stickied for the noobs:). its not hard you just have to go for it.

first you need a sheet of metal or aluminum aroung 1/8 or 1/16in thick.

you need to draw out your plans. the dimensions i used were 9.5in long, 6.5in wide, and 5.75in deep.

cut out your shape and bend it at 90 degrees at all the seams until it forms a box. simple right?

now the best part, you have to cut out your airbox. a cutoff wheel works great for this. start right at the lip of where your stock aribox is and cut straight back until your through the toolbox. do this on both sides of your stock box. then take small strips of ur aluminum or steel you have left over, bend them at 90 degrees, bolt them to where your plastics bolt on under the seat in the center. then drill thru the straps and the box and bolt the two together. now its mounted.take it back out and get a peice of straight exhaust pipe that your air filter will fit on about 5.5 or 6 inches long. cut out a hole in the front of ur box on the carb side about 1 or 1.5 inches from the bottom. put the pipe in and angle it so ur filter doesnt touch the side or the bottom of the box. now weld in your pipe

find a peice of rubber hose that fits on your exhaust piping and your carb and link the two together. re-jet your carb and ride.
