Does someone make extended front brake cables for drum style front brakes? I want to use the front brakes without going hydro and get extended a-arms since I blew a ball joint.

Why not go hydro? Way better stopping power. And I actually have hubs, calipers, and a master cylinder I'd be willing to let go of for cheap. As far as the A-arms if you go ASR, you can use banshee spindles with the sealed ball joints. Otherwise if you keep the drums you will have to run the heim joints, which some on here have had problems with. Some haven't.

Thanks for the offer but I just bought on craigslist a 2003 blaster for $450 running and the brakes work! just needs carb work and I have a new carb in the basement so I'm going to swap the brakes then sell it to a buddy who want it lol.

Assuming it's the lower ball joint that fell apart, you need to come up with a 1988 pinch bolt style lower A arm to put the 88 drum brakes on the 03..
