My Wifes 2013 TRX Honda 250x

This past Friday my wife bought herself a new ATV . I tried to get her to ride the Blaster but she said it was too hard to ride .She had a lot of trouble with the clutch taking off having to rev it so high. Then when it stalled , she had trouble kick starting it too.

.The Honda Sport clutch and Electric starting on the TRX 250 x sold her. She rode all weekend with no problems.I just wanted her safe to ride..

..so I ordered her front bumper and nerf bars on Monday . Ill get some pics up later.

Here you go since you asked 1st !

DG was the only company that makes a front bumper for the 250 x. Tusk makes a polished nerf bar set that will match so I ordered it too.

Its really only 230 cc and a pushrod motor too, but boy can it rev !Quick too , no chain snatch and better ground clearance too. It supposed to have 25 hp at the crank and 21 rwhp. Top speed is about 55 mph ,wheel width and overall length same as Blaster.Weight is 279 lbs

Its still a Honda though .

..takes forever to warm -up but at least the choke is on the bars.

The Tusk nerfs came Friday.They fit fine except nerfs make the 250x as wide as the 400x now.

That looks like a nice quad, I love Hondas, they are VERY reliable. Honda and Yamaha make the best quads for sure, well in my mind.

What, if any, difference is there between the X and the EX?

Working on an ex, and tho only rode it for couple minutes, seemed peppy for a 250 4poke.

Mostly.. Different gear ratios inside /outside,lighter too. The motor revs quick for a pushrod motor because its really 230 cc not 250.
