I thought it would be interesting to post the weight of the blaster and some other atvs I have had or weighed in the past. We have a large scale at work for weighing pallets of stone and its accuracy is within 1lb it gets calibrated a few times a year. I can't believe the difference between the 2 blasters. The one with more add ons is lighter?

pretty much any aftermarket part you put on weighs less than stock. i cant even think of one where stock is lighter??? carb maybe haha

I would have to attribute the lighter weight to the better design of the 03+ Blasters. Hydro Disk brakes are lighter, the headlight design is lighter, probably a few other things as well. I bought my current blaster like this and it weighed in at 325lbs before all the mods

Well I kinda figured the alum grab bars and rims are lighter, but with ext swingarm, ext a-arms, nerfs and skids are all extra weight, not much but extra. The full toomey vs the toomey silencer (with stock pipe?) prob makes the difference lol

Yeah I was somewhat shocked too..but then again, have you ever got one stuck and had to lift it up? lol

Haha thats true. People are always saying "It must suck to not have reverse on your blaster" But its not that bad. You just pick one end and turn it around. lol

I know the stock A arms are pretty light. Lots pf pple use them instead of after market a arms for drag racing.
