Bye bye RM, Hello Shee

I'm still working on this. The DMC 916 system came in the other day, and I finally got it on tonight. The next warm day, I'm going to take it outside and fire it up.

Thanks Dave. If anyone goes to put one of these on, make sure you have some help. It was a pain to do by myself. An extra set of hands would make getting the stinger's and silencer on alot easier.

I really like how you kept it mostly stock looking but added a few tasteful mods. What jetting are you running with them? a buddy of mine just picked up the same ones and I have heard very good things about those pipes. He said 30 pilots and I forget what mains and he asked me what mains to start with..

Lookin good Fred, luv them centered duals !

Thanks! The silencer is the main reason I got it!

Thanks Doug!

looks really sweet

Thanks Harley!

i don't see crude, i see ....dude, nice work

Crude as in.....I can cut the bar stock, drill holes In it, and bolt it up.

I asked Doug if I got him some measurements, if he would make me some. I went to tractor supply last night to get my dad a Xmas present, saw the aluminum stock, and figured I can at least make these!

You have added some very nice Bling Fred, I like it!

Turn the clamps so that the screws are hidden under the bottom and presto smooth!

It was warm enough today to fire her up. I warmed it up and took a ride down the road.....its pulling alot harder than it did before. :) Sounds like nothing else I've ever heard before.

That siamese twin muffler is incredible as far as sound goes. I usually don't care as long as it's running right, but that thing sounds incredible - esp at low rpms.

Thanks Muggzy. I'm pleased with it, especially for $300. I emailed DMC and they sent me the stickers for the silencer.

The main thing is, it's going to be ready come spring.
