ISO Hinson clutch basket

trying to see if anyone happens to have a spare Hinson clutch basket laying around so I can finally get my motor back together and get my project finished. I have been watching eBay daily but wated to ask the fellow blaster forum members as well.

Do you mean the Billet ones? If so I have seen on e bay a few billet clutch baskets. the Hinson 's but they are pricey and a few other brands. The cheapest billet clutch basket I have seen was around $140.. Out of curiosity have you looked into the clutch basket mod? It is a diy on adding holes to the basket and boss. Just like the Hinson does but it's free..

I have already done the upgrade on the oem basket I have but after I laid the clutch plates
in it I found there is quite a bit of wear and the so called good deal I got was a over filed used oem. So instead of getting another worn out stock I thought I would just be done and get the Hinson.

I put this one in my blaster when i got it a few months ago.

I had to do a little bit of filing because the plates wouldnt fit easily. the coating on the basket seems to have thrown off there measurements or something
I only filed off the coating on the side of the fingers that dont get worn out. if i had, i figure the basket might wear faster? idk, just seemed right to me

Awk has had this basket for 2 or 3 years now and he has had no problems. and if i remember right, he also had to file a little? not 100% sure
