Problem with new Itp t-9 wheels

hey guys I just bought some new itp t-9 pro series 10x5 front wheels for my 03 blaster. I mounted new tires on them and put them on the quad. They are loose. Where the wheel is supposed to touch the centering points on the hub there is about an 1/8 inch of play. My stock wheels are much tighter than these. Is this normal?? Hope they will take them back

Can you post a pic of where you are talking about? A mounted rim should have NO play when they are torqued down.

I think i understand

it sounds like the thickness of the mounting plate is thinner so the nuts are tightening to where the bolt threads stop.
check that and throw some washers in

No he means the wheels have larger center hole than stock and are not hub piloted this way. Get lug nuts with taper?? I think when the stock wheel fits well it takes load off the studs.

yes exactly what amartin said. The center hole has about a 1/16" of play. I am going to bolt them on today and see how it works.
