Hello I just got a really nice 2003 LTZ 400 it is all stock except for the air filter is a K&N and there is no air box lid ..
what jet should I move to?

It's stock and I thought plugged chop is 4 a 2 stroke

It is used for 4 pokes too. Only mods are no lid and K and N filter? What is in the carb now. I would take a random shot in the dark and say u would need a 150 155 160 main.? Stock needle should be fine. I could be off but I would think somewhere in that range..

ok thank you i will do a chop am I looking for the same kind of ring on the plug as I would for a 4 stroke

Yeah. Btw is your needle adjustable on that? I know aftermarket needles are adjustable but I am not sure about the stock needle. I hear some yes and some no ???

I will let you know I just got it yesterday and I had to drain the gas and change the oil because there was water in the gas and gasoline in the oil they had left the fuel valve on prime for how long I do not know..
I traded a 97 cbr900 and a 98 blaster that had NO TITLE OR BILL OF SALE was told that it was not stolen but Vin was ground off of it
